Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defines and drives the long-term software platform strategy across the Company's software ecosystem, including Windows, mobile, content, and supporting services.
- Owns senior-level accountability for software engineering execution, organizational effectiveness, platform alignment, release quality, and delivery health.
- Leads software directors, managers, and associated teams to ensure strong execution, team health, technical quality, and organizational alignment.
- Partners with individuals at the Product Management level to align software engineering execution with product strategy and portfolio priorities.
- Ensure that software roadmaps are executable, technically coherent, and aligned with platform, architectural, and business realities.
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience is required.
- 7+ years of experience leading software engineering organizations, engineering managers, or multi-team technical functions is required.
- At least 5 years of experience leading software delivery across multiple platforms, products, or domains is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with SDLC improvement, release management, architecture alignment, and cross-functional product engineering execution is required.
- Experience in regulated, medical device, accessibility, or compliance-driven product environments is preferred.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management, QA/Validation, UX, Clinical, and executive leadership is preferred.

- Deep expertise in software engineering, platform development, SDLC execution, delivery management, and software quality.
