Full Job Description
Position: Senior Director of Digital Marketing
Reports to: Vice Presidentof Marketing
Department: Web & Digital Marketing
Location: US Remote (and Canada when applicable)

Who you are:

CIEE seeks a highly skilled Senior Director of Digital Marketing to join our digital team. We're looking for a team player that is able to prioritize, multi-task, and respond quickly to schedules under demanding deadlines. They must be able to communicate well and maintain a high level of coordination with Sales & Marketing and multiple units across the organization.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this position would manage development, execution and reporting on all digital marketing campaigns, social media paid campaigns, including training. They would work closely with IT and Analytics teams to ensure data integrity and development of digital analytics reporting across business lines. They would also be responsible for managing social media members and channels for CIEE, as well as the production control and distribution of videos produced within Sales & Marketing for CIEE.

What you'll do:
  • Manage team of Digital Marketing Producers and Email Automation to ensure upward movement and efficiencies in budget and campaign production.
  • Manage the development and execution of all in-house digital marketing campaigns for CIEE programs.
  • Lead discovery sessions, identify client requirements, and architect marketing automation strategies.
  • Make recommendations to business units and senior leadership on goals, outcomes and projections for campaign development and budget requests.
  • Design and implement advanced nurture programs, lead scoring models, lead lifecycle programs and complex automation workflows.
  • Own analytical review of multi-channel marketing effectiveness, conversion tracking, and ROI - translating data into mid and senior level reports and actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Train and develop Digital Communications staff and other Sales & Marketing team members on marketing automation best practices and the core digital marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Coordinate lead data import/export with Enrollment Management Operations team.
  • Develop, build, and manage vendor relationships for marketing platforms and related web applications.

Social Media Management and Advertising Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and implementation of paid social media marketing efforts for CIEE channels that support the mission, values and brand in an effort to bolster awareness and engagement with the University community.
  • Partner with business units, social media team, and stakeholders to develop social media campaigns that effectively meet the needs of our clients.
  • Evaluate and measure the success of paid social media initiatives through metrics, data monitoring, and interaction.
  • Manage campaign performance reports and share results across teams and make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Monitor new trends and social platforms and look for opportunities to improve CIEE's position within the digital landscape.
  • Manage account access on social platforms and advise on organizational governance.


What you'll bring:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, and inbound or lead generation campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills and outstanding attention to detail.
