Full Job Description
General Description:

The Medical Value and Outcomes Sr. Director (MVO) position will lead clinical, health economics and
outcomes research communications with population health decision-makers to ensure effective
delivery of value stories and support for BeOne Medicines' products. This role will be responsible for
disseminating scientific evidence that inform population health decision-makers on the value
propositions for our products. MVO will work closely, and compliantly, with other functional groups by
providing field medical MVO leadership on Pharmacoeconomics and health outcomes research.
This position will support HEOR strategy and build/maintain compliant relationships with appropriate
Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and population health decision-makers. Specifically, the incumbent will
work closely with internal colleagues in HEOR, medical affairs, clinical development, commercial and
market access, legal, compliance, new product planning, and other functions within and outside of
BeOne Medicines.


Field Territory: OH, IN, KY, PA, VA, WV

Essential Functions of the job:
  • Develop and maintain clinical acumen related to disease-states of interest to BeOne.
  • Medicines and its pipeline and marketed products.
  • Establish and maintain scientifically credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national
  • & regional payers and managed care organizations (e.g. Health plan P&T members, and
  • formulary decision bodies).
  • Establish and maintain scientifically credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with
  • Canadian provincial & private payers (e.g. pCODR, INESSS and private payer decision
  • bodies).
  • Provide impactful feedback/information to internal stakeholders on emerging payer formulary/
  • coverage and reimbursing trends.
  • Provide input on HEOR projects, take the lead on customer outcome projects, and assist in
  • the development and execution of HEOR/market access relevant activities (e.g., payer
  • advisory boards, consultant, and HEOR projects).
  • Communicate and present clinical and HEOR data to population health decision-makers and
  • related external customers.
  • Represent BeOne Medicines on HEOR issues at national/global forums, conferences, and
  • professional associations, including monitoring and communicating activities.
  • Work with internal partners, e.g. market access, commercial and medical teams, and interact
  • with external consulting KOLs.
  • Help to define and provide appropriate level of professional development and training for
  • HEOR team and other interested internal stakeholders.
  • Works with appropriate internal stakeholders to support Value-Based/Outcomes-based.
  • (VB/OB) metrics for payer customers.
  • Uses best efforts to complete work with available budget.

Education Required:
  • MD, PharmD., PhD, or related advanced degree

Qualifications:
  • MD, PharmD., PhD, or related advanced degree with 10+ years of experience in Hematology/Oncology, or candidates with a master's degree with 15 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Impactful oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience with HEOR and communications presenting HEOR data to external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Value-based/Outcome-based metrics applied with payer customers.
  • Ensure function maintains full compliance with internal and external guidance and

Salary Range: $204,200.00 - $274,200.00 annually

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
