Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
Leading financing transaction negotiation and execution across the business, including working capital debt, construction debt, securitizations, term loans, private placements, credit support facilities and tax equity financing arrangements (including tax credit transfer agreements)
Provide strategic advice related to financing activities (e.g. approach to issues like FEOC requirements, tax credit safe harbor strategies)
Act as a legal interface between the Capital Markets and Development teams to ensure that projects remain financeable through the development and construction lifecycle
Serve as the primary advisor on financing eligibility and underwriting standards, and develop and maintain financing-related processes
Manage a team responsible for, among other things, financing compliance processes and project tranching processes across multiple financing structures
Assisting with supervision and management of corporate secretarial function and certain governance matters
Qualifications:
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house), including at least four (4) years in renewable energy project finance
A graduate degree (JD or LL.B) in law and member in good standing of a state bar
