POSITION TITLE: Sr. Director, IT Services
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking a Senior Director, IT Services to provide line leadership for the technical engineering and operations organization that designs, builds, and runs ADB's corporate enterprise systems. This leader owns architecture, engineering, and operations across information security, infrastructure, data, enterprise applications, and IT operations. They also partner closely with the Business Transformation and Standards and Field Platforms organizations to deliver reliable, transformational technology services to ADB. The ideal candidate is a strategic, forward-thinking leader of leaders who can engage deeply in the technology when the work demands it and has the maturity to lead through their teams the rest of the time, with an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides line leadership for the IT Services organization spanning information security, infrastructure engineering, data engineering, enterprise applications, and IT operations, and is accountable for the aggregate performance, capability, and budget of the function.
  • Builds and develops the manager bench, growing technical managers into people leaders who develop domain owners in areas the manager does not personally master, so the organization is not dependent on any single individual.
  • Owns delivery performance, reliability, and service discipline that keeps enterprise systems available and supportable across Systems Teams, IT Engineering, and IT Operations.
  • Sets architecture, design, and engineering standards for corporate enterprise systems, balancing efficiency, risk, and long-term capability.
  • Provides technical architecture and delivery guidance for enterprise system implementations.
  • Partners with the Business Transformation and Standards organization to deliver against governed priorities and acts as the escalation point for complex cross functional technical issues.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This role operates out of ADB's corporate headquarters located in Pacific, MO or one of our offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Denver, or Lockport, IL
  • Occasional travel to field operations sites is required
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, copiers, and cell phones

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
  • 5+ years successfully leading a technical organization or major function, including developing other leaders, required.
  • 5 to 7+ years of technical experience across enterprise systems, infrastructure, or information security, required.
  • Experience leading Agile delivery and/or ITIL-based service management, required.
  • Deep experience implementing or operating enterprise applications such as HCM, ERP, and/or CRM, strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building and developing technical managers within a high growth, highly complex environment, required.
  • Relevant technical certifications desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business strongly preferred. Advanced degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

The starting pay for this position is $150,000.00 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
