Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
12+ years strategic sourcing experience with significant professional services procurement.
7+ years leadership experience.
Experience managing complex enterprise negotiations.
Large Healthcare Setting or Fortune 500 procurement leadership.Strategic Business PartnershipServe as the principal commercial advisor to the Chief Information Officer and direct reports, translating enterprise technology priorities into executable sourcing, supplier, and commercial strategies.
Participate in strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and investment discussions before procurement activities begin to influence technology roadmaps and acquisition strategies.
Develop multi-year category strategies that balance innovation, cybersecurity, operational resiliency, and total cost of ownership.
Technology Strategy & Market IntelligenceContinuously monitor software, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, digital health, and telecommunications markets for emerging capabilities and supplier innovation.
Benchmark MUSC Health against leading academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks to identify modernization and optimization opportunities.
Provide executive leaders with actionable market intelligence, supplier assessments, pricing trends, and commercial recommendations.
Commercial Strategy DevelopmentDevelop sourcing strategies supporting ERP optimization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity modernization, AI enablement, enterprise infrastructure, and managed services.
Evaluate enterprise agreements, strategic partnerships, cooperative purchasing, competitive sourcing, and outcome-based commercial models.
