Full Job Description
THE WORK:

  • You'll drive strategic growth of healthcare programs, project management, construction management, and advisory services.
  • You'll lead healthcare market expansion efforts across California.
  • You'll develop and maintain executive-level relationships with healthcare systems, hospital executives, developers, and design/construction partners.
  • You'll identify, position, and capture new project management, construction management, and advisory opportunities.
  • You'll lead pursuit strategies, interviews, and proposal efforts for major healthcare opportunities.
  • You'll develop annual growth strategies, revenue forecasts, and market penetration plans.
  • You'll establish processes, policies, priorities, and resource planning for the healthcare group to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • You'll ensure adherence to California building, licensing, and safety codes, managing relationships with regulatory agencies for timely approvals.
  • You'll develop and maintain detailed budgets, forecasts, and schedules, overseeing financial performance, expenses, and client contracts.
  • You'll collaborate with healthcare executives and stakeholders to translate needs into facility design and construction while minimizing disruption to patient care.
  • You'll oversee procurement, RFP processes, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management.
  • You'll proactively identify and track market expansion opportunities to position the healthcare group for new contracts.
  • You'll supervise the healthcare group, fostering a collaborative culture and mentoring team members for professional development.
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 20 + years in healthcare planning, design, and construction management
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex HCAI/OSHPD ground-up hospital or renovation projects
  • Deep understanding of California building codes, regulatory compliance, and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures
  • OSHA /HCAI and CCM certifications
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project) and CAD software


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with all types of project deliveries including Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) or Lean construction methods


$200,000 - $275,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
