About The Role

The Senior Director contributes to FTI's growing insurance risk management advisory team's client service delivery. The Senior Director will be an integral part of the team, working directly with clients and their leadership, while engaging with large and complex risk profiles, private equity firms, and cross-functional FTI teams. The Senior Director will leverage his/her risk management contacts, industry expertise and overall network to source new opportunities and expand the Global Insurance Services practice revenue base. The Senior Director will work across all lines of commercial insurance coverage, while assisting on building the practice and identifies new areas to expand RMA's services. This position reports to a Senior Managing Director based in New York.

What You'll Do

  • Actively engages in business development opportunities, both internal and external
  • Manages and oversees RMA projects and support staff to ensure deadlines, client deliverables and budgets are met
  • Effectively pitch new products or solutions to existing and prospective clients and internal practices
  • Manages all aspects of client corporate insurance programs by compiling and analyzing the insurance needs of clients to provide optimum coverage, costs, and claim settlements
  • Collects, classifies, analyzes, benchmarks, and interprets data from multiple sources such as audits, claims, exposures, policies, renewals, and financial reports to identify issues and trends
  • Compiles, analyzes, and presents data for commercial coverage placement, administering claims, handling loss forecasting, risk management budgeting and allocations, and loss mitigation and reduction efforts
  • Coordinates ongoing client commercial insurance renewals providing input, renewal options, and binding communication with clients, brokers, and practice team members
  • Supports client loss prevention, property engineering, and safety initiatives
  • Contributes to the implementation of new risk policies, practices, appetites, and solutions to ensure holistic understanding and management of risks according to industry best practice.
  • Provides oversight of risk through documentation review, assessment of performance monitoring, model validation, and use implementation to identify, assess, aggregate, and mitigate risk events
  • Assists in the preparation of client presentations and reports and communicates the results of the same to client leadership
  • Interacts with client brokers and vendors to facilitate the delivery of critical data and information
  • Supports the due diligence and integration activities of merger and acquisition, carveout, and integration of client insurance programs
  • Collaborates with cross-functional client services teams
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, transition, and onboarding of client insurance vendors, such as brokers, third-party administrators, actuarial, captive, RMIS, and loss control providers
  • Practice Support
    • Support practice file retention and organization on the share drive and hard copy files
    • Assists in the development of marketing collateral, pitch materials and thought leadership papers

Compensation

Minimum Pay: $119,500
Maximum Pay: $329,500
