Senior Director - Financial Services - Americas Division - copy

In the United States -New York

If you're a Financial Services growth leader who's tired of "advising around the edges" and ready to set direction, build a team, and own outcomes, this role is for you.

How you will create an impact:
  • As Senior Director, Financial Services, you will lead from the front-in the market and inside the firm. You'll deepen relationships with senior executives, originate and lead major engagements, and elevate our FS practice through capability-building and thought leadership.
  • What you'll lead and own
    • Practice leadership & growth
      • Serve as a leader of the Financial Services practice in the Americas-helping set priorities, build capabilities, and expand our footprint.
      • Source and shape opportunities by identifying client pain points and translating them into high-impact commercial growth engagements.
      • Create momentum with existing clients through follow-on work-and open doors to new relationships and new markets.
    • Client impact
      • Lead end-to-end strategy engagements that drive tangible outcomes (and that clients can actually implement).
      • Bring deep FS content knowledge across monetization and commercial strategy, including:
        • Growth strategy (organic/inorganic), go-to-market, and front-office transformation
        • Pricing & packaging, value proposition design, product/portfolio strategy
        • Segmentation and analytics-led commercial strategy
        • Distribution strategy (omnichannel, digitization, channel orchestration)
        • Sales effectiveness (process, incentives, coverage, productivity)
      • Deliver executive-ready storytelling-clear, confident, and actionable.
    • Team leadership
      • Build and grow high-performing teams: coach, develop, and inspire future leaders.
      • Manage multiple engagements while balancing client success, team experience, and project profitability.

Your profile:
  • You're likely someone who is known for commercial growth work in FS-and is ready to lead bigger, build more, and have broader impact.
  • You bring:
    • 10+ years in management consulting or professional services serving Financial Services clients.
    • A strong track record in selling and delivering complex strategy work with senior executives.
    • A meaningful network in North American Financial Services (senior relationships preferred).
    • Demonstrated experience building and leading teams-and ideally contributing to practice growth, IP, and thought leadership.
    • The ability to manage multiple engagements across workplans, budgets, timelines, and client stakeholders.
    • An undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Willingness to travel ~25% with in-office presence of 2-3 days per week in alignment with our hybrid working model.

The pay range for this position in New York is $240,000 - $275,000 / year plus potential annual based performance bonus. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
