Total Rewards: Benefits/Incentive InformationGENERAL FUNCTION The Senior Director of Eyecare is responsible for driving execution of doctor-related activities and initiatives for the Pearle Vision Brand. This role will lead the recruiting of Optometrists for diverse store environments both Franchise and Corporate and implement strategies to enhance Doctor engagement. This leader will liaise with the Eyecare Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure that brand priorities are supported by the COE and that COE strategies are successfully implemented within the brand.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with optometrists, field leaders, marketing, internal stakeholders, academic institutions, and attend industry events to drive patient access, expand business, and elevate brand loyalty.
- Lead the MedTech strategy for the brand.
- Lead the Optometric Advisory Council (OAC) of Doctors to gain insights and perspectives on the doctor experience within the brand and enlist their help and sponsorship to execute brand Eyecare strategies
- Provide Doctor practice management consultation to continually grow eye exams and deliver positive patient experiences.
- Lead OD recruitment and management efforts across the US and Canada
- Monitor and analyze Brand and Doctor metrics to identify and act upon opportunities to build the business and optimize coverage
- Strategically increase patient access and ensure comprehensive coverage within the brands, minimizing dark, dim and opportunity stores
- Partner with the Eyecare COE and Corporate Training team to support development of new, value-added Doctor and field training programs/tools
- Influence the communication strategies developed by the Eyecare COE team that enhance communication between the brands and the doctor community
- Support sublease administration including renewals, non-renewals & annual business planning sessions led by the COE Operations team
- Maintain strong knowledge of all regulatory requirements that impact the business or the Doctors and ensure compliance
- Lead & empower team members to enhance patient access and drive business results by utilizing their expertise in optometry skills, TAB, Digital Suite, and state licensing requirements to recruit Optometrists for varied locations and business models, while also strategizing for future growth opportunities.
- Coach and mentor team to optimize the patient journey and spearhead eyecare initiatives through well-defined action plans.
- Cultivate effective relationships with internal departments to address business challenges and opportunities, focusing on enhancing Optometrist satisfaction.
- Maintain EyeMed, Medicare, and managed care credentialing materials, and encourage participation of sublease doctors in MVC plans.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- BA/BS in business, health care or related field
- 12+ years of multi-unit responsibility for physician/optometric practice management or similar experience
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills

- Problem solving ability
- 50%-75% travel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Doctor of Optometry or master's degree in healthcare related field
- Licensed to practice optometry in state where brand does business
Pay Range: 191,312.85 - 264,247.00
