Job SummaryThe Senior Director, Credit Portfolio Management, will be responsible for the overall asset management of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans/investments, including complex and/or high touch loans/investments, with little need for detailed supervision.
Responsibilities: - Provide leadership in addressing complex customer requests and internal inquiries, ensuring high service standards and effective issue resolution.
- Oversee compliance with loan agreements and covenants, proactively identifying non-compliance and directing enforcement actions as needed.
- Supervise the review and processing of borrower consent requests, coordinating with relevant parties to safeguard stakeholder interests.
- Direct the analysis and reporting of property performance, delivering strategic insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage and review property condition inspections and compliance audits, ensuring thorough evaluation and regulatory adherence.
- Identify, assess, and communicate investor risks, offering actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with borrowers, special servicers, certificate administrators, and other key stakeholders to support business objectives.
- Interpret and provide guidance on a broad range of loan and securitization documents, ensuring organizational compliance and alignment.
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in all facets of real estate transactions, including deal structuring, entity formation, asset management, and market analysis.
- Mentor and develop Associate Director, fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- 5+ years management experience through direct or indirect structures
- Experience in reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate loan documents and deal documents
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex loan documents and identify critical triggers.
