Full Job Description
The Role

We're looking for a Senior Director to lead our Brand Marketing function across the full portfolio. This is a senior operator role for someone comfortable analyzing data, setting brand strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. While directly leading a team across organic social, influencer, PR, and editorial, the real differentiator is the ability to lead through influence beyond that scope-brand touches every function, and the ability to align and motivate people who don't report to you is the core muscle this role requires. This person knows how to make collaborators want to prioritize brand, not just comply with it. They're also a strong upward communicator: proactive, clear, and skilled at bringing a hands-on leadership team into the work in ways that build trust and accelerate decisions.

What You'll Own

  • Define and maintain brand positioning, ideal customer profiles, value propositions, and voice guidelines across all eight portfolio brands, keeping each brand's identity distinct while operating cohesively as one ecosystem.
  • Drive strategic storytelling and go-to-market messaging for campaigns and launches across every channel, connecting brand narrative to business performance, and build seasonal and always-on narratives that carry the brand beyond tentpole moments.
  • Establish brand KPIs and measurement frameworks, including methodology and metrics such as awareness surveys, brand sentiment, NPS, and share of voice, and set the baseline the team uses to track brand investment over time.
  • Oversee organic social strategy, execution, and performance across brands, setting the standard for voice, creative quality, and community engagement.
  • Lead influencer marketing with both a performance and brand-building lens, ensuring programs are structured, measured, and built to scale, and grow the affiliate program through high-value partnerships (LTK, RewardStyle, premium publishers).
  • Ideate and develop brand collaborations and partnerships that extend the reach of each initiative in ways aligned to brand values.
  • Set strategy and performance expectations for PR across home, lifestyle, and design verticals, owning PR KPIs (share of voice, tier-1 placements, media impressions) and connecting earned coverage to brand and business outcomes.
  • Own channel-level KPI setting and reporting across social, influencer, and affiliate, using performance data to continuously optimize program structure, content approach, and partnership investment.
  • Lead SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy so the portfolio surfaces across traditional search, AI-generated responses, and emerging discovery surfaces, partnering with the Director of Editorial and owning editorial and content KPIs (organic traffic, keyword rankings, engagement, AI citation frequency).
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing brand marketing team with a culture of accountability and creative ambition.

What You'll Drive

  • Establish and steward brand standards as the operating framework for cross-functional teams, ensuring Growth, Creative, Ecommerce, and Merchandising execute in alignment with each brand's strategic direction.
  • Establish and manage a complex, cross-functional marketing calendar to keep tentpole sales, product launches, and everyday execution aligned and on time.
  • Own the brand marketing budget in partnership with Finance, tracking spend against channel and brand KPIs and making proactive reallocation decisions so every dollar ties to a measurable initiative.
  • Continuously improve internal processes and brand operations, using Asana to manage briefing, deadlines, and prioritization so multiple high-visibility projects execute smoothly without dropped balls.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional team leaders on brand mission storytelling, impact reporting, and values-driven content.

We Are Looking for People Who:

  • Have 8 to 12+ years of hands-on brand marketing experience, with a track record of building and scaling brand programs across organic social, influencer, PR, affiliate, and editorial channels.
  • Bring deep fluency across the full brand marketing mix (campaigns, organic social, influencer, affiliate, PR, and editorial), with proven leadership within home, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods.
  • Approach ambiguous problems by figuring out what's broken and acting on it, not waiting to be told what's next.
  • Move fast, take real ownership of outcomes, and hold themselves to a high bar, even as deadlines, priorities, and initiatives shift quickly.
  • Collaborate well across teams, with a low-ego, no-drama approach, and are comfortable leading through influence with people who don't report to them.
  • Are culturally connected, with a strong read on trends and best practices across retail and digital ecosystems.
  • Are data-fluent, comfortable setting KPIs, reading performance reports, and making decisions based on what the numbers say.
Bonus points if you also have DTC experience.
