About the Role

We are seeking a AI Automation & Enablement Lead to help scale and operationalize AI-powered capabilities across the Client's media ecosystem.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on applying and integrating existing AI tools.

You will orchestrate the use of Omnicom (OMC) platforms such as Omni+, proprietary AI solutions, enterprise data assets, and third-party technologies to enhance how media planning, investment, and optimization decisions are made. You will work closely with technology, data, and business teams to configure and tailor solutions for the Client's needs.

Deep media experience is helpful but not required. Candidates may come from media, marketing operations, analytics, martech, consulting, transformation, or technology enablement backgrounds. What matters most is the ability to connect AI capabilities to real business outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead AI Enablement Strategy

Develop and execute an AI enablement roadmap focused on practical, scalable applications
Map business challenges to existing Omnicom and third-party AI tools
Prioritize enterprise-ready solutions over bespoke builds
Ensure alignment with the Client's broader AI and data strategy

Orchestrate Tool Integration

Evaluate and deploy AI tools across Omni+, OMC solutions, and third-party platforms
Partner with technology and data teams to customize configurations for the Client's use cases
Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly into existing workflows and data environments

Embed AI into Workflows

Redesign planning and activation processes to incorporate AI-assisted decision-making
Create clear playbooks and usage guidelines for teams
Elevate human roles toward strategic judgment while AI supports data-heavy tasks

Translate Business Needs into AI Solutions

Identify where predictive insights, automation, or optimization tools can improve performance
Work with technical partners to tailor outputs for usability and actionability
Ensure AI enhances decision quality - not complexity

Drive Adoption & Responsible Use

Develop enablement programs and training materials
Monitor adoption metrics and remove barriers
Align all AI applications with governance, privacy, and security standards
Act as a trusted advisor on responsible AI implementation

What Success Looks Like

AI-enabled tools are widely adopted across teams
Planning and optimization decisions are faster and more consistent
Manual processes are reduced
Solutions scale across brands and markets
Leadership clearly understands and values the business impact of AI enablement

What We're Looking For

Experience

7-10 years of experience in media, marketing, analytics, transformation, martech, or technology enablement roles
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed environments
Demonstrated ability to operationalize tools and systems within business teams
Experience partnering with technical or data teams without serving as a hands-on developer
Deep media expertise is not required. Strong business process understanding and the ability to improve decision workflows are more important.

AI & Data Fluency

Working knowledge of how AI and analytics tools are applied in business environments
Familiarity with predictive modeling, automation, optimization systems, or decision-support tools
Ability to evaluate AI solutions for business fit and scalability
Understanding of governance and responsible AI principles
Hands-on coding or machine learning development experience is not required.

Skills & Attributes

Strategic thinker who connects technology to measurable outcomes
Strong communicator who can translate technical capabilities into business language
Comfortable navigating ambiguity while creating structure
Collaborative leader who builds alignment across agency, client, and technology teams
Pragmatic operator focused on scalable impact

What This Role Is - and Is Not

A strategic integrator of AI tools
Focused on application, integration, and adoption
A bridge between business teams and technology partners
Centered on operational and business impact

This role is not:

A software engineering position
A data scientist or machine learning model builder role
A pure innovation lab or experimentation function

Why This Role Matters

AI is transforming how marketing and media decisions are made. This role ensures innovation is practical, scalable, and embedded into everyday workflows - not siloed or experimental.

You will help position the Client and the agency at the forefront of AI-enabled marketing by ensuring the right tools are used in the right ways to drive measurable business value.New York: $120,000.00-$230,000.00

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
