Position Overview:The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and driving digital performance across e-commerce, demand generation, and marketing automation. This role directly impacts growth and conversion by optimizing the full digital ecosystem, from website optimization to campaign execution and lead management. This is a high-impact role requiring a self-directed individual who can operate independently, identify opportunities, and execute data-driven strategies that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities Demand Generation & Paid Media
- Build, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns across SEM, paid social, and content distribution
- Own end-to-end management of Google Ads and partner with the Marketing Communication Specialist on LinkedIn Ads strategy, execution, budget allocation, and optimization
- Drive growth in MQLs, marketing-influenced pipeline, and cost-per-lead efficiency
- Partner with Sales to improve lead handoff quality, scoring accuracy, and conversion rates
- Collaborate with the Marketing Communication Specialist to develop gated content and lead gen offers that support pipeline targets
Organic Content, SEO & Website Experience
- Own SEO strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content gap analysis
- Partner with agency resources to build and manage the organic content calendar, including blogs, long-form guides, and educational content aligned to search intent and the buyer journey
- Improve organic traffic, search rankings, content engagement, time on site, conversion rates, and bounce rate
- Maintain and elevate the quality of website marketing content
- Own and execute a bi-annual website content audit to ensure pages are accurate, current, and aligned with SEO and messaging standards; implement revisions as needed
- Partner with the Senior Multimedia Design Specialist and broader marketing team to grow thought leadership through the Education Hub and support landing page needs tied to campaigns
Marketing Automation & Platforms
- Own HubSpot platform strategy, governance, and architecture, setting the standards the broader team works within
- Maintain data integrity across all digital campaigns, including data hygiene, UTM structure, and attribution tracking to ensure reliable performance reporting
- Lead automation strategy by identifying, designing, and implementing improvements that reduce manual work and improve lead flow
Analytics, Performance Reporting & AI Innovation
- Own digital performance reporting across GA4, HubSpot, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
Translate performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for monthly reporting - Monitor and optimize traffic quality, conversion rates, CPL, and marketing-influenced revenue
- Build and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics
Partner with the Marketing Manager to identify, evaluate, and pilot AI tools that improve content output, campaign efficiency, audience targeting, and predictive lead scoring - Lead adoption of AI-assisted content workflows, including SEO content generation, campaign copy testing, and personalization at scale
- Operationalize AI tools into repeatable team processes and build fluency through knowledge sharing and hands-on enablement
Expected Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum of 7 years of digital marketing, demand generation, or e-commerce experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted
- Proficiency in HubSpot, GA4, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO tools, and CMS platforms
- Experience managing multi-channel demand generation campaigns and paid media budgets
- Strong understanding of SEO strategy, content marketing, and the B2B buyer journey
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and experience working in a Windows environment
Work Location & Travel: - This role offers flexibility in work location. Candidates may be based on-site, in a hybrid arrangement, or fully remote, depending on individual circumstances and business needs.
- Up to 10% domestic travel may be required for meetings, training, team collaboration, and other business-related needs, including occasional visits to our corporate office in Schaumburg, IL, and other company locations.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000. The actual pay will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
