The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (CCSD) is looking for a full-time Information Technology (IT) Specialist (SYSANALYSIS/APPSW), GG-2210-13 to serve as the Senior Digital Information Technology Specialist and technical expert for Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Unified Platform Branch (HNCP) at JB San Antonio - Lackland, Texas. U.S. Citizenship (Required) This is a designated Drug Testing Position Must be able to obtain and maintain a "Top Secret" security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Must be able to obtain and maintain the required level of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification within 9 months of assigned duties. The employee is required to file a Confidential Financial Disclosure report upon appointment and annually thereafter. Must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Defense (DoD) Cyberspace Workforce Framework Foundational qualification within 9 months of assignment; resident qualifications within 12 months of assignment. Required Core Competencies: Digital & Emerging Technologies: Advanced technical knowledge of software and other various digital technology systems, such as cyber, cloud, platform, data, and artificial intelligence. Systems Analysis & Software Development: Knowledge of technology systems analysis and applications software concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging IT security methods and principles, the feasibility of proposed new systems and applications software projects; and to design, write, test, debug, and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the database environment. DoD & Platform Policies: Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force policies and procedures, guidelines, directives, and techniques related to software and technology system platforms. Technical Communication: Ability to clearly and effectively discuss and present program objectives, managerial tasks, and technical information verbally and in writing to management and professional personnel at all levels within the DoD and other government agencies within timelines prescribed by regulation or management.
