Job DescriptionJoin our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center and Carrier Service Provider. The IP Routing Hardware organization is very flat - there are few levels of management between the Individual Contributor and the VP of Hardware. We are also very lean - each Hardware Engineer spends more time doing engineering work and less time on overhead. As a result, your work has high visibility, and your decisions directly impact product design.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Hardware Engineer, you will:
- Design complex, multilayer printed circuit boards
- Drive and manage your design through the development process from concept to production release
- Verify prototype hardware under thermal and environmental conditions
- Work with the Factory to release a high-quality product
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Qualifications- Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience designing complex PCB designs
- Understanding of Ultra high-speed PCB circuit design and methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with stack-up design, signal integrity simulation, and power circuitry
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI/Safety and ITU/IEEE/Bellcore telecommunications standards
- Programming/Scripting ability (C/Python)
