Full Job Description
As Senior Digital Campaign Manager with Stand Together Communications, you will own high-impact digital strategies that drive state legislative and brand objectives across a comprehensive portfolio of state chapters for the grassroots and policy/advocacy work at Americans for Prosperity, Concerned Veterans for America, and The LIBRE Initiative. This role requires an advanced strategic operator who can build trust with state leadership, management of large portfolios, and seamlessly balance hands-on campaign execution with long-term, portfolio-wide strategy. If you are a seasoned relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced advocacy environment and can drive high-level vision with leadership while rolling up your sleeves to get the job done, we want to hear from you. *This role is located at our office in Arlington, VA. How You Will Contribute • Campaign Execution & Strategy: Own end-to-end digital strategy and hands-on execution for your states, including paid media strategy, building landing pages, setting up email/text lifecycle campaigns, and managing organic support - while driving larger budget planning and tactical alignment with state operations leadership. • State Portfolio Management: Serve as the primary digital partner and internal champion for a comprehensive multi-state portfolio; manage multiple concurrent state relationships and campaign timelines with strong attention to detail, while navigating high-stakes relationships with state operations leadership. • Portfolio Strategy & Forward Growth: Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and State Ops leadership to serve as a strategic voice for the collective portfolio; anticipate digital trends ahead of major legislative cycles and build a long-term roadmap for state digital maturity. • KPI/Goal Setting: Translate high-level state legislative priorities into macro digital targets, custom audience segments, optimized channel mixes, and portfolio KPIs. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary executor managing day-to-day campaign deployment with media vendor partner; coordinate with national specialized capability teams (e.g. Web, Creative, Analytics, Lifecycle) when a state campaign scales and requires additional resources. • Advanced Reporting & Analysis: Deliver weekly performance reporting to state stakeholders, typing channel metrics to legislative goals; establish macro portfolio-level reporting to give executive leadership a broader view of campaign performance. • Growth & Playbook Optimization: Proactively secure larger budget commitments by pitching targeted digital advocacy strategies - such as localized ad budget increases, advanced landing pages, or high-impact text mobilization tactics - directly to state operations leadership, and author the team's written strategic playbook. What You Will Bring • Experience: 5+ years developing digital campaign strategy and overseeing execution in an advocacy, political, or issue-campaign environment, with direct paid media planning and optimization oversight via a vendor/agency. • Senior Relationship Management: Proven track record of building trust with high-level remote stakeholders, managing competing expectations, and successfully converting skeptical stakeholders into trusted partners. • Execution & Strategy Balance: A "player-coach" mindset; highly comfortable driving macro portfolio strategy while simultaneously building digital assets and launching state campaigns. • Digital Native: Deep technical understanding of paid media management, lifecycle marketing (email/text), audience segmentation, and CRM data systems; experience in an advocacy context (e.g., broadcast or P2P texting) is highly preferred. • Tool Familiarity: Deep experience with digital advocacy platforms and ad managers (Meta Ads Manager, Unbounce, Speak4, i360), enterprise workflow software (AirTable, Workfront, Microsoft 365), and a proven ability to leverage advanced AI tools to optimize strategy iteration, operational gaps, or accelerate daily workflows and execution speed. • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect. Standout Candidates Will Bring • Experience working directly with state-level grassroots or regional political teams • Background in senior client services, account management, or agency partner-success roles • Bilingual communication skills (Spanish and English) • Hands-on experience with copywriting, basic design, or project management certifications What We Offer • Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace. • A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,300 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges. • Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents. • Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive. $90,000 - $125,000 a year For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $90,000 -$125,000 per year.
