Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a
Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer to support a company focused on modernizing mission-critical federal systems through secure cloud technologies, automation, and scalable software delivery.
This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL . The Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native deployment processes across AWS and hybrid environments. This role will play a critical part in enabling rapid, secure, and reliable software delivery while ensuring compliance with stringent federal security requirements. Responsibilities for the Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer include:- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and software deployments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools to automate cloud and hybrid infrastructure
- Integrate security controls, compliance checks, code quality validation, and vulnerability scanning directly into the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with software engineers, cloud engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance deployment pipelines, system performance, logging, monitoring, and release readiness processes
Required Qualifications for the Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer include:- 8+ years of experience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, cloud automation, or secure software delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS
- Strong knowledge of secure development practices, automated vulnerability management, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required
Compensation for the Senior DevSecOps CI/CD Engineer include:Salary Range : Competitive salary depending on experience
