Job Summary:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will serve as a software-focused platform engineer responsible for enabling the development, build, test, deployment, and release of enterprise applications. The role will focus on building and maintaining automated software delivery platforms, infrastructure, pipelines, policies, and self-service capabilities while ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and efficient release processes. The engineer will work closely with application development teams to onboard applications, automate delivery workflows, and support cloud-native platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code, Pipeline-as-Code, and Policy-as-Code solutions to automate enterprise application delivery.
• Build and maintain extensible automation and dependency management frameworks.
• Develop event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, command-line interfaces, and self-service developer portals.
• Apply unit, security, governance, and functional testing to platform engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for consistent infrastructure provisioning across environments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications and support Docker-based workloads.
• Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR) to support scalable application deployments and container image management.
• Utilize Azure services including ACR, PostgreSQL Database, and Application Configuration.
• Integrate and support Azure DevOps (ADO) for streamlined software development and delivery processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows using Azure Pipelines.
• Automate application onboarding processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with application developers to facilitate smooth application transitions into production environments.
• Design and implement automated database deployment solutions while maintaining data integrity and consistency.
• Develop automation for application monitoring, performance reporting, and availability tracking.
• Build self-service capabilities that enable development teams to manage workflows while adhering to governance policies.
• Lead application and service onboarding in public cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Lead release engineering activities and ensure reliable, efficient, and repeatable application releases.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and application delivery issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of platform engineering practices, automation, security, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications:
• 1+ year of experience coding in Python, TypeScript, or Golang.
• 1+ year of scripting experience using Bash or PowerShell.
• 4+ years of networking experience, including security, DNS, VPN, cloud networking, and load balancing.
• 4+ years of systems administration experience with Linux or Windows.
• 1+ year of experience with at least one public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and pipeline development.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, application onboarding, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of application delivery, release engineering, and production deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.
