Position Overview

Woolpert is seeking a Senior Designer for our Mission Critical team. This position would be aligned with our offices located in Chicago, IL, New York City, NY and/or Charlotte, NC and would support full-time in-person/hybrid, and remote working arrangements.

We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

What You Will Do:
  • Drive project execution, along with the project manager, working closely with clients, consultants, team members, and other project contributors.
  • Guide and manage a team of architects, engineers, and production staff to deliver innovative projects that exceed client expectations.
  • Lead research into relevant code, materials and systems, and client-specific prompts, leveraging derived insights to create unique and innovative design solutions.
  • Develop thoughtful technical solutions and manage the delivery of clear and concise project documentation.
  • Seek opportunities to contribute to design excellence by playing an active role in a collaborative design process.
  • Operate successfully in a hybrid home/office environment.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and have a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
