Full Job Description
A Senior Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining unit and revenue forecasts for customer and/or channels. This position interfaces with product development and sales. It requires the use of statistical analysis and project management skills. A Senior Demand Planner blends statistical forecasting with cross-functional consensus planning to create demand plans for a dynamic and growing business. You will own the demand planning process for your products and make an impact on key business decisions. This role is critical in enabling inventory optimization, SIOP processes, and vendor partnership.

1. Develop demand / statistical forecasts utilizing demand-planning software at multiple levels of aggregation for 36 months for Finished Good items

2. Gather, prepare, analyze and validate forecast data; review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, summarize, aggregate and evaluate forecast results; develop statistical forecast models.

3. Performing risk assessments and developing activities for mitigation

5. Identifying problems, proposing solutions and implementing fixes to improve accuracy

6. Monitoring fluctuations in forecasts, budgets and strategies that may require shifts

7. Evaluate input data and forecast output to ensure accuracy.

8. Collaborate with sales, product development and supply chain teams to incorporate insights to transform and improve forecasts, driving consensus to aggregated demand plan

9. Coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply chain.

10. Document major initiatives for product forecasts, including new product introduction, customer projects, promotions and events.

11. Provide root cause analysis and actions to continually improve demand plan quality.

12. Provide revenue forecasts at corporate, customer and categories levels

13. Address demand-related inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

14. Develop demand planning documentation and process mapping.

15. Document and test forecast assumptions, searching for opportunities to improve accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field and five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant work experience are required.

Knowledge of consensus demand planning concepts and statistical models. Attention to detail and quality: rigorously check work for accuracy. Participation and contribution in S&OP and Demand Review processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
