The Senior Data Scientist will support the development of analytics and insights that drive Star Ratings performance. This role focuses on hands-on analysis, modeling, and stakeholder support, contributing to key initiatives while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:- Develop and execute analyses, predictive models and reporting solutions to identify insights that can be incorporated into strategic recommendations for improving member care and to drive STARS quality measure performance
- Analyze healthcare data to identify trends impacting Star Ratings performance
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, product, actuarial, IT)
- Work with large and complex datasets for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Present results and recommendations to business partners

Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of professional experience with Python, SAS, or R
- 4+ years of experience manipulating data and extracting insights from information across multiple platforms
- 3+ years of experience working in a cloud-based database environment including Snowflake or equivalent technologies
- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and gap closure strategies
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Medicare Advantage / Star Ratings analytics
- Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed data environments (e.g., Spark)
- Experience using AI tools to increase productivity in areas such as data exploration, code development and analytical solution delivery. Strong understanding of responsible AI practices such as model validation and explainability

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
