A career as a Senior Data scientist in the Compliance team at National Bank means acting as an expert in regulatory risk modelling. Your job - Develop analytical models to support regulatory oversight of investments in the wealth Management and Personal Banking sectors
- Implement performance indicators (KPIs) and risk indicators (Kris) for senior management and business lines
- Design interactive dashboards and self-service analysis tools in a dynamic environment
- Help optimise data environments to promote business intelligence and advanced analytics
- Produce risk reports for complex financial products across several business lines
- Actively participate in committees and projects requiring a high level of data and compliance expertise
Your team You are part of a multidisciplinary team of 12 colleagues with a wide range of expertise, including two other senior data scientists in Investment Compliance. Prerequisites - A completed bachelor's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field
- Modelling and programming expertise (SAS, SQL PowerBI)
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
