Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Manager / Analyst to drive high-quality data operations across Verily's products and customer programs. In this role, you will own complex clinical and health-data domains — from data collection and standards-based modeling through delivery — and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver trusted, secure, and interoperable data solutions.

You will lead end-to-end data management activities spanning customer delivery and reconciliation, data quality, database lifecycle management, access management, content authoring and localization, and data standards and interoperability (including LOINC, CDASH, and FHIR) — all while supporting Verily's mission to advance healthcare innovation through reliable, accessible, and actionable data.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end data operations, customer onboarding, secure data access, and change management across multiple programs, ensuring scalable delivery, governance, and compliance. Provide configuration expertise for data collection systems, including clinical trial platforms, when applicable.

  • Drive data quality by defining validation strategies, performing data validation and reconciliation, testing user workflows, and leading root cause analysis and issue resolution.

  • Author, maintain, and validate product content, metadata, and schemas, including translation and localization workflows.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle to define requirements, improve data infrastructure, enable data liquidity, and deliver customer-facing data capabilities.

  • Improve operational efficiency by developing reusable frameworks, documentation, and best practices; sharing knowledge through technical guidance and training; and leveraging automation and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Life Sciences, Health Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in data management, data operations, analytics, product operations, or a related field.

  • Experience using SQL or similar tools to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot complex datasets.

  • Experience managing complex data quality initiatives, operational workflows, and partnering with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or other regulated data environments.

  • Experience supporting the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data ingestion, validation, transformation, access management, and customer delivery.

  • Experience designing scalable operational processes, data quality frameworks, and data governance practices.

  • Experience leveraging automation, AI, or data tooling to improve operational efficiency and data quality.

  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD $103,500 - $116,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
