Title:
Senior Data Management Analyst

KBR is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst, specializing in Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and JIRA/Confluence to join our team in El Segundo, CA and take charge of managing and optimizing our JIRA and Confluence instances and integrating Power XX tools into our data management efforts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in configuring, customizing, and maintaining these platforms to meet the specific needs of our organization.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force's Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom Power BI and Power Apps applications to integrate customer SharePoint data for ease of storing and locating data.
  • Customize and administer JIRA and Confluence, including user management, permissions, workflows, and configurations.
  • Configure Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and plugins to support effective collaboration and knowledge management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and implement solutions in JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and new features/releases to continuously improve our systems.


Required Skills:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required for this position
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of work experience in JIRA/Confluence, Power BI, Power Apps
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing Agile workflows.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:
  • Secret or higher security clearance
  • Familiarity with Azure AI Services
  • Experience working or supporting government contracts
  • JIRA and/or Confluence certifications


Basic Compensation: $156,000 - $195,000 in El Segundo, CA

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
