• Proven expertise in logical data modeling and logical data layering.
• Strong understanding of decentralized data ownership principles and treating data as a product.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions like S3, Azure Blob, and GCS.
• Familiarity with federated governance and enterprise data strategy development.
• Experience in payments systems is essential and non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a Data Mesh framework to ensure decentralized data ownership.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake architecture with a focus on logical modeling and data layering.
• Establish a self-serve platform for domain data management.
• Implement federated governance to enforce global standards across local domains.
• Oversee the cloud storage layer, optimizing data formats and compression.
• Manage the compute layer for efficient query processing using independent resource clusters.
• Lead cloud services for authentication, metadata management, query optimization, and security management.
• Align the enterprise data strategy with business objectives, ensuring technological choices support these outcomes.
