This role sits at the intersection of finance, accounting operations, and data. Reporting to the Director of Finance Data & Systems, the Senior Data Analyst will be the backbone energizing the elevation of management financial reporting, accounting month-end close, and audit deliverables.

The Impact You'll Make:
  • Partner with accounting team to support recurring close deliverables, ensuring data is accurate, reconciled, and delivered against firm month-end close deadlines.
  • Connect and analyze data across multiple source systems to explain financial results, support reconciliations, and accounting workpapers that stand up to audit scrutiny.
  • Build and maintain reporting and analytical tools that improve the efficiency, automation, and timeliness of recurring deliverables and standardized reporting, as well as ad-hoc analysis.
  • Partner with the central data and data engineering teams to ensure the accuracy and availability of the financial data required for both day-to-day decisions and the quarterly close.
  • Support external audit data requests, including documenting data sources and lineage to strengthen audit readiness.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology and process improvements that increase the rigor and repeatability of our close.
  • Help develop and evolve management financial reporting tools and data models in collaboration with the functional areas of the business, data engineers and software developers.
What You'll Bring To The Table:
  • A bright, highly analytical, and technically oriented individual who can execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Comfortable connecting and interpreting data across disparate source systems to answer accounting and financial questions.
  • Familiarity with accounting operations and the month-end close cycle is a strong plus; experience supporting external audits is a bonus.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of managing projects and competing priorities under deadline pressure while maintaining composure.
  • Strong attention to detail paired with a big-picture orientation.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation, a bias for action, and a passion for innovation; eager to develop processes and deliverables from the ground up.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across internal teams (accounting, finance, operations, data, and engineering) and with external stakeholders such as auditors.
  • Track record of acquiring new tools, skills, and knowledge to better execute on goals.
