Full Job Description
Position: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Must Reside in NY/NJ/CT)

Compensation: $102,549.17 - $115,367.82

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst will provide technical support to ensure accurate and timely reporting for our operations teams. The role will work with our clinical teams to assess cost and utilization trends through authorizations and medical and pharmacy claims. Qualified candidates should have significant health plan experience, experience in health care payer medical trend analysis and a good understanding of how the various aspects of healthcare work

Experience/Education:
  • This position requires a minimum formal education of a bachelor's degree, a Master's degree is preferred. Consulting experience is a plus.
  • 3-6 years health care experience and 4-6 years of analytical experience.
  • 3+ years leading technical efforts regarding medical trend analysis • Advanced understanding of coding, specifically SQL (5+ years).
  • Advanced experience in Tableau (5+ years)
  • Business understanding of health care industry within Managed Care.
  • Ability to utilize data management systems to pull and analyze information to draw conclusions and recommendations.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to communicate analytical findings both verbally and in written form.
  • Strong work ethic • Willingness to question the validity and accuracy of data.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills paired with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and appropriately prioritize.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
