Full Job Description
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Senior Data Analyst in the U.S. Department of Energy.

The Senior Data Analyst will support the Office of Critical Minerals and Energy Innovation (CMEI) leadership tasks across all levels of CMEI leadership by performing the following unclassified duties:
  • Identifying new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

-Collecting customer requirements.

-Determining technical issues.

-Designing algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R. Python, C++, JavaScript,
  • Building data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data.
  • Improving the quality of data use and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
  • Working collaboratively teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data that support Intelligence products.
  • Research and assist in developing management, professional, technical, and administrative requirements needed to support IACC, SCEP and FEMP and CMEI systems requirements.
  • Develop systems' alternatives and solutions that provide best value to the Program and CMEI in meeting program deliverables and mission.
  • Implement systems' alternatives and solutions that provide the best value to the Program and CMEI in meeting program mission and deliverables.


Notice $120,000-$135,000 Skills & Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

  • 8 (Eight) years' experience. Master's Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Strong Organization Skills


Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Energy industry, federal government, knowledge a plus


Required Education

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
