Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Senior Cyber Program Planner to support the Executive Agent (EA) for Cyber Training Ranges for USCYBERCOM in coordination with J7. Location: Annapolis Junction, MD.

In this role, you will support USCYBERCOM as the EA for the DoW Cyber Training Ranges to develop, coordinate, and integrate plans, synchronizing activities across the designated cyber training ranges and in accordance with DoW training directives/outcomes.

 

Tasks include:

  • Report directly to a 4-star USCYBERCOM-level organization all Cyber Training Ranges for the DoW.
  • Directly interface with the DoW on policies, orders, standards, and actions related to Cyber Training Ranges
  • Perform duties as Congressional liaison, representing DoW and USCYBERCOM interests and objectives.
  • Prepare briefings, information/decision papers, policy documents, staffing packages, Execution Orders (EXORDS), memorandums, SITREPs, and official multimedia correspondence related for the EA of DoW Cyber Training Ranges.
  • Ensures ranges are in alignment with DoW policies, including National Strategy, DODD, DODI, Army Regulations, EXORDS, etc. to deliver intended training outcomes.
  • Collaborate (onsite) with the DoW EA for Cyber Test Ranges, to establish the architectures and interoperability standards for the designated cyber training ranges. Recommend mitigation or countermeasures to resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems within the existing designated range infrastructure.
  • Support the EA’s Biennial Integrated Plan to meet requirements specified by HQDA, G-3/5/7 DAMO-SO and USCYBERCOM, the training community, and the research, development, testing and evaluation community.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with PhD. Will consider 12 years with Bachelors, 14 years with Associates, or 16 years with HS.
  • Must have experience as a primary staff officer at the 3-star level
  • Must have experience and knowledge of military documentation process, JCIDS requirements analysis, PPBE, and an in-depth understanding of the structure, functions, and specific key personnel across OSD, Joint Staff, HQDA, CCMDs, TRADOC, and the ASCCs including ARCYBER, CCoE and other TRADOC CoEs
  • Requires excellent communication, collaboration, and team management abilities
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • TS SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph and MEAD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OCO/DCO experience
  • Familiarity with service or commercial cyber training ranges
  • Formal military staff college education such as United States Army Command and General Staff College (CGSC), US Army War College, School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), Command and General Staff School (CGSS), or other service/joint equivalents
  • Masters and 15 years of DoD experience
Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
