Full Job Description
About the role

Our customers are some of the earliest and most sophisticated teams building for the future of AI search. Their results and experiences are among the most powerful ways we can demonstrate what's possible with AirOps and establish trust in a rapidly evolving category.

We're looking for a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to turn those outcomes into compelling evidence and advocacy. You'll build a rich library of case studies, videos, customer quotes, proof points, references, and speakers that brings the AirOps story to life across our marketing and sales efforts.

AirOps has a strong foundation of customer relationships and advocacy, but our existing programs were built for an earlier chapter of the company. As we expand to new enterprise buyers, use cases, and solutions, you'll rethink and rebuild our approach for where we're going next. You'll draw on what we've learned and the relationships we've established without being constrained by the programs or content that exist today.

What you'll do
  • Rebuild AirOps' customer marketing and advocacy strategy for our next stage of growth, with a focus on new enterprise buyers, solutions, and use cases.
  • Develop a strong pipeline and library of case studies, videos, customer quotes, proof points, and other stories across priority industries and personas.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Services, Sales, and Data to identify meaningful customer outcomes and turn them into credible, differentiated narratives.
  • Reimagine the customer reference program, expanding our advocate network and making it easy to connect the right customers with the right opportunities.
  • Identify gaps in the proof needed to support enterprise sales conversations and proactively develop stories that address them.
  • Build a network of customer advocates and speakers for sales opportunities, events, webinars, media, and other high-impact moments.
  • Own the AirOps Customer Advisory Board end to end, including member strategy, programming, executive participation, meeting execution, and ongoing engagement.

Who you are
  • 6+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, product marketing, or a related role at a B2B software company.
  • Proven experience creating compelling customer stories from interviews, implementation details, and business results.
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers and a strong understanding of the proof points, narratives, and outcomes that resonate with enterprise buyers across industries.
  • Experience rebuilding or significantly evolving a customer reference or advocacy program within a sales-led go-to-market motion.
  • A strong interviewer, writer, and storyteller with excellent judgment about what makes a customer story distinctive and credible.
  • Able to learn from what already exists while challenging assumptions and designing a program for a new audience and stage of growth.
  • A trusted, highly organized partner who can work effectively with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams while balancing persistence with empathy.
Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership
  2. Quality
  3. Curiosity and Play
  4. Make Our Customers Heroes
  5. Respectful Candor
Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Parental Leave
  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
