Senior Credit AnalystPEAC is seeking a Credit professional to underwrite loan applications in a fast paced and high-volume sales environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently underwriting qualified applicants within an acceptable time frame. Qualified candidates must be energetic, detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently in a team setting.
Essential Functions:- Responsible for evaluating and recommending credit decisions for commercial working capital loan applications in a timely and accurate manner
- Utilize Dun & Bradstreet, Credit Bureau (Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax), and related commercial bureau reports to render a sound credit decision
- Review and validate information included on bank statements, financial statements and other reports
- Validate business existence and reputation through online search engines
- May be required to present transactions above lending authority to management
- Convey credit decisions in a clear and concise matter to individual Sales Representatives
- Communication in multiple mediums and departments within the organization
- Ensure commercial lease and loan transactions are underwritten according to Credit policy standards
- Comply with Credit audit procedural requirements
- Daily responsibilities may require face-to-face interaction with the individual Sales Representatives
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree required in related field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years commercial lease and/or loan underwriting experience preferred
- Strong time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
