Position OverviewInternational Financial Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Credit Analyst to support customers financing their acquisition of International trucks and buses. This is a dynamic role with credit approval authority, focused on providing credit underwriting of owner-operators and small- to mid-size fleet customers.
Responsibilities- Daily interaction with dealers, finance managers, and internal sales teams regarding credit requests
- Perform credit assessment on existing and potential new customers
- Complete credit memo templates in a clean, accurate, and professional manner
- Make recommendations regarding credit decisions to NFC Credit Management
- Exercise credit approval authority consistent with NFC's dual signature policy
- Communicate credit decisions to internal and external parties
- Ensure compliance with all company reporting policies, such as risk ratings and scorecards
- Minimize NFC's risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies and procedures with respect to lending decisions
- Collect and gather standard due diligence and KYC information
- Ensure loans and leases are properly documented and the liens are perfected
- Educate dealers on credit and documentation requirements
- Support the execution of strategic credit, sales, and marketing initiatives
- Assist management in creation and update of policies, procedures, reports, and desktop manuals
- Assist in remediating post-funding documentation exceptions
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of accounting or finance experience
OR
- Master's degree and no experience
OR
- At least 3 years of accounting or finance experience
Additional Requirements- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills- 1+ years of credit underwriting experience, preferably in the transportation sector
- Working knowledge of consumer credit bureaus, PayNet, LexisNexis, and DocuSign
- Strong analytical skills, business writing skills, and proficiency with applications including Excel, Word, Power BI, and T-Value
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of the transportation industry and related credit policies and procedures
- Proficiency in finance and lease documentation, insurance, and lien perfection
- Ability to effectively prioritize workloads that include multiple transactions
