About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to help develop the infrastructure that will make AGI a reality - while helping build a Legal Department from the ground up. As Senior Counsel, Infrastructure at FluidStack, you will be a key member of our growing Legal team, responsible for structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements critical to FluidStack's delivery of world-class AI infrastructure. Your work will span data center development and leasing, energy, and supply chain and procurement, among other areas. We are seeking a results-driven attorney capable of operating autonomously in a dynamic environment, partnering cross-functionally to drive transactions to completion, and serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business leaders across the company. Basic Qualifications- Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent
- Active license to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction, with ability to meet admission requirements as needed
- 8-12 years of sophisticated experience as a practicing attorney, with fluency in areas directly relevant to data center development, including leasing, energy, and supply chain and procurement
- Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements with sophisticated counterparties, with a high degree of autonomy and a commercially pragmatic approach
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations and to anticipate and address complex legal and business issues with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to earn the trust of business partners as a go-to legal and business advisor
- Strong ability to manage outside counsel across substantive disciplines with rigor and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications- Mix of law firm and in-house experience
- In-house experience at a data center developer or cloud company
- Private practice experience in real estate or energy
- Experience leveraging AI tools to improve legal work product and efficiency

The salary range for this position is $350,000 - $500,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
