Senior Cost Accountant to join our accounting team. As our
Senior Cost Accountant, you will have the opportunity to be a key contributor to the monthly close process, manage AR functions, reconcile accounts, and play an essential part in financial reporting and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing as a
Senior Cost Accountant:
- Posting daily cash receipts, billings and assisting with AR collections
- Processing credit applications and prepare aging reports
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and fixed asset management
- Perform account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the general ledger
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies, while identifying and explaining monthly variances
- Support internal audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories
- Review job costing and prepare schedule of variances for investigation.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Working with other departments to support decision-making processes and ensure financial information is readily available
- Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports for management
- Assisting with audit and preparing necessary documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations and reporting.
What You Bring as a
Senior Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience is a must)
- Knowledge of GAAP and experience with account reconciliations
- Excel proficiency, along with experience Manufacturing ERP systems
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify trends.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including senior management.
