WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Slate is looking for a dynamic, organized, experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for completing several corporate accounting activities for our company.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Work closely with stakeholders to complete the accounting activities for our company on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare and Maintain Financial Records - Record journal entries, conduct financial analyses, and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support Month-End and Year-End Close - Assist in the monthly close process, including financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
  • Generate Financial Reports - Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts - Support the annual audit process by ensuring proper documentation, adherence to accounting standards, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Contribute to ERP Implementation - Actively participate in ERP system planning, implementation, and optimization to enhance financial operations.
  • Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures - Prepare and utilize detailed work instructions for recurring accounting tasks to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate on Budgeting & Forecasting - Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
