OverviewAbout the RoleWe're looking for a sharp, strategic
Content Strategist / Senior Copywriter to drive messaging strategy and content development across B2C and B2B channels. This isn't a "write it and hand it off" role - you'll own the full lifecycle of messaging, from auditing and strategy through execution and optimization. You'll work at the intersection of brand, performance marketing, and product education - translating value propositions into high-performing copy across campaigns, channels, and audiences. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and skilled writer, comfortable navigating cross-functional partnerships with media, legal, and marketing teams.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoAudit & Foundation- Assess current product value propositions, feature messaging, and existing content toolkits to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing campaign messages - tagging historical flighting, capturing available performance results, and mapping gaps in the user education journey.
- Gather and organize all existing campaign messaging into a centralized, structured library (Airtable, Quip or similar tool) with a framework for historical context, results tracking, and opportunity identification
Content Strategy & Development- Develop content strategy and messaging maps across campaigns and channels, spanning both B2C and B2B audiences
- Create new, performance-driven copy for repeatable text-based channels, including SEM, ROKT e-commerce, rideshare placements, and other partner channels, as briefed
- Extend and adapt existing campaign messages into scalable, channel-appropriate formats optimized for performance
Optimization & Performance- Partner with media leads to gain insights on in-market messaging performance and collaborate on testing recommendations - including audience variations, A/B testing, and cross-channel optimizations
- Drive ongoing copy optimizations based on performance data, iterating to improve conversion, engagement, and relevance
Cross-Functional Partnership- Partner with the client's legal team to collate all approved marketing claims, tag updated and in-progress claims and facilitate reviews of new messaging as developed
- Join marketing strategy and briefing meetings to stay aligned on cross-channel efforts, product priorities, and campaign timelines
QualificationsWhat You BringRequired- 5-7 years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, or a related role - with a strong portfolio of performance-driven and brand work
- Demonstrated experience developing messaging frameworks, content libraries, and campaign copy across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of performance marketing channels (SEM, e-commerce, programmatic, partner placements) and how copy impacts results
- Experience working with both B2C and B2B audiences, with the ability to shift tone, depth, and approach accordingly
- Proven ability to partner with legal and compliance teams on messaging approvals without sacrificing quality or speed
- Excellent organizational skills - you can build systems (libraries, frameworks, tagging structures) that scale and endure
- Comfort with ambiguity and client-facing environments - you'll be embedded on-site and need to navigate stakeholder dynamics with confidence
Preferred- Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, and/or consumer technology
- Proficiency in Quip, Notion, Airtable, or similar content management/collaboration tools
- Experience with using AI tools as part of your workflow
- Exposure to A/B testing frameworks and interpreting data to inform creative decisions
What Sets You Apart- You don't just write - you think in systems. You see how a single message connects to a channel strategy, a user journey, and a business objective.
- You're proactive. You don't wait for a brief - you identify gaps, propose solutions, and bring recommendations to the table.
- You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments where priorities shift and stakeholder management matters as much as craft.
