OverviewAs a Senior Copywriter within CoLab, you'll serve as a brand steward, delivering high-quality, strategically aligned content across a range of media. With 2-4 years of experience, you bring creative consistency, conceptual strength, and a deep understanding of brand voice and audience needs.
You'll lead projects of moderate scale and help shape the creative direction of the team-all while contributing to a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence.
Responsibilities- Oversee branded and unbranded content creation to ensure message consistency across tactics
- Write clear, concise, accurate, and well-organized copy across formats and audiences, using AI responsibly
- Accurately annotate projects for fact-checking without supervision
- Pivot writing style and voice to suit different clients, brands, and audiences
- Partner with Editorial to ensure clean, accurate content
- Bridge creative approach with client Medical and Legal requirements
- Lead concept development with strong understanding of brand and audience
- Present ideas clearly and professionally, adapting to feedback in real time
- Manage multiple projects independently under tight deadlines
- Provide mentorship and feedback to junior team members
- Participate in performance discussions and support team development
- Communicate clearly to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Begin managing up by ensuring work is reviewed at key milestones
- Identify upsell opportunities within projects
- Encourage a sense of belonging and support a respectful team dynamic
- Handle emotionally charged situations with confidence and professionalism
- Champion the team's creative purpose and contribute to its evolution
Qualifications- BA/BS degree with coursework emphasis in English, journalism, communications, or a science preferred
- Must have pharmaceutical and oncology advertising experience
- 2-4 years of experience in a copywriting or related creative role in medical writing
- DTC experience strongly preferred, HCP and global market experience is a plus
- Proven ability to write and lead across a range of media and formats
- Strong conceptual thinking, presentation and AI skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with confidence and effectiveness in client-facing interactions
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and time management skills

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $129,987.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
