Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Salary Range: $40.00 - $46.00 per hour
  • Design and program welding equipment from start of project to completion.
  • Observe standards set out by MDV
  • Ensure that job is completed on time and functioning safely.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy
  • Know what types of Personal Protective Equipment are required for the jobs in your area and always use them properly
  • Consult your Manager if you are not 100% sure of how to perform tasks in a safe manner
  • Ensure that your work area is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times to prevent accidents and produce quality products
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments.

Other Tasks:
  • Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee's Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Magna Operational Principles in all aspects of position and interaction with others.
  • Effective use of MDV's Escalation Process.
  • Compliance to IATF customer requirements
  • Attends all scheduled meetings and training.
  • Understands and follows established rules, procedures and policies relating to position.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by observing safe work practices and by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

  • Lead the design of control solutions including both hardware and software.
  • Writes data specifications, operators manuals and acceptance test plans. Installs and troubleshoots mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic components on electrical equipment.
