You will help drive the near-term and long-term strategic direction of Wipfli, as you lead our team of consultants and analysts through client projects. The ideal candidate operates with independence, can understand business problems, and develop actionable recommendations, and enjoys digging into data to analyze issues.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of operational, strategic, market study and data management consulting engagements.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing consultant, building relationships with stakeholders from the boardroom to the shop floor.
  • Sustain and grow current client business and take a proactive approach to new business development.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and strategic sessions to manage clients to success.
  • Assess issues impacting client performance and strategic execution, develop improvement plans, and drive actions to support those projects.
  • Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership teams and boards of directors.
  • Use data-driven problem analysis tools to drive action and develop recommendations.
  • Support ownership with strategic direction including but not limited developing, deploying, executing, measuring and course correction of Wipfli and our clients.
  • Travel to client sites, 75%/12 days a month for in-person engagements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Experience with traditional lean manufacturing tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Quick Changeover, Standard Work, etc. a plus.
  • Excellent research and presentation skills.
  • Comfort managing up and down, mentoring, and coaching associates and clients.
  • Leadership skills and proven interpersonal presence.
  • Ability to extract information, quickly assess a situation and develop critical and creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Self-starter and manager of their own schedule and initiative to take on responsibility.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $117,000 - $158,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
