What You Will Do:

You will have an immediate impact by partnering with our clients, across all levels, to deliver product planning, pricing, reimbursement, product commercialization, and regulatory and compliance solutions.

Senior Consultants are integral members of Guidehouse teams and contribute to all levels of the consulting process. Life Sciences Senior Consultants are responsible for the day-to-day management of consulting assignments and have regular interactions with clients. Your specific responsibilities include: analyzing scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to discern the business implications of new technologies and emerging trends; conducting primary research interviews with clinicians, thought leaders, and executives in the life sciences industry and related fields; managing and mentoring junior staff; and preparing and presenting written reports to senior management and clients.

Senior Consultants follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen their knowledge in the field of healthcare and the practice of consulting. As Senior Consultants hone their project management skills and ability to manage multiple work streams, they progress to the position of Managing Consultant.

What You Will Need:
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years
  • Minimum Degree Status: Advanced degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program (MBA, MD, PharmD, or PhD) through Fall of 2026 and graduate by Summer 2027)
  • PhDs currently completing Postdoctoral research fellowship are also eligible for consideration


What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Prior work experience in the life sciences and/or consulting industries
  • Demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting
  • Critical thinking, creativity, and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and coach team members
  • Ability to grasp clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services
  • Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work overtime when required

The annual salary range for this position is $107,000.00-$178,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
