Our needs:We have an immediate opening in our Houston office for a Mid to Senior-level professional with experience in landscape architecture and site construction
Requirements:- 8+ years of professional experience in a design office (landscape architecture, architecture, or urban design)
- experience preparing construction drawings and document sets with a strong focus on technical detailing
- working knowledge of landscape architectural construction and site development elements
- experience reviewing and redlining drawing sets
- familiarity with materials research and writing technical specifications
- experience supporting projects through construction, including site observation or construction administration
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- ability and willingness to travel, including driving
- licensure or intent to pursue licensure
Qualifications:- strong attention to detail with an ability to elevate the quality of construction documentation
- organized and thoughtful in managing time, tasks, and project information
- clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- approaches problem-solving with curiosity and sound judgment
- works collaboratively with designers at all levels and contributes to a positive team environment

- comfortable participating in and leading meetings as needed
- demonstrates accountability, reliability, and follow-through
- positive attitude and strong sense of ownership in work
Additional Experience (Preferred)- proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- experience with Bluebeam Revu
- hand sketching and visual communication skills
- 3D modeling experience (SketchUp or Rhino)
- familiarity with Revit or other BIM software
