Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in Florida
• 5+ years of defense litigation experience
• Preferred experience in construction defect practice
• Familiarity with construction law or related areas
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions
• 2nd chair trial experience is a plus
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of construction litigation matters from beginning to end
• Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners on case strategy and complex issues
• Communicate regularly with clients providing updates and legal analysis
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
• Utilize legal research tools and case management systems effectively
