Senior Configuration Specialist
As a Senior Configuration Specialist, you will play a critical role in the success of our company by managing and maintaining the configuration of our software and systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that all configurations are accurate, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the configuration of our software and systems
- Work with development and operations teams to understand and implement configuration requirements
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation and processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner
- Ensure all configurations are accurate, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients
- Monitor and track configuration changes and ensure they are properly documented and communicated
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with configuration standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test new configurations
- Train and mentor junior configuration specialists
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration management
- Strong understanding of software and system configuration principles and best practices
- Experience with configuration management tools and systems
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
