Job Summary The Senior Configuration Analyst will serve as the functional configuration lead for Methasoft and/or Smart EMR platforms, with strong preference for Methasoft experience. The role will independently own configuration for assigned modules and workflows, ensuring system configurations align with business and operational requirements. Responsibilities include workflow and rules configuration, requirements analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to support healthcare operations and continuous EMR enhancements. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the functional configuration lead for Methasoft and/or Smart EMR modules and workflows. • Configure and maintain workflows, business rules, forms, decision tables, and related system components. • Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into effective system configurations. • Conduct configuration testing and validation to ensure expected system behavior and solution quality. • Troubleshoot configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable corrective actions. • Support requirements workshops, solution design discussions, implementation planning, and other project delivery activities. • Create and maintain configuration documentation, process flows, knowledge assets, and reusable configuration components. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, optimize workflows, and support ongoing EMR enhancements. • Ensure configurations and processes align with organizational policies, data privacy standards, healthcare regulations, and confidentiality requirements. • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommended solutions to stakeholders. • Support defect analysis, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer activities. • Work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with business and technical teams. Required Qualifications • 3-6 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Methasoft and/or Smart EMR platforms, with Methasoft experience strongly preferred. • 3+ years of experience with workflow configuration, rules management, forms configuration, and decision-table setup within healthcare technology environments. • Experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into system configurations and functional solutions. • Strong understanding of EMR/EHR workflows, healthcare operations, and clinical or business process optimization. • Proven experience executing configuration testing, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex business scenarios and recommend appropriate solutions. • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery environments. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams. • Ability to create clear functional documentation, process documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials. • Ability to work independently and effectively in a client-facing environment. • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
