Responsibilities

  • Manage Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for quality documents
  • Maintain Configuration Management Database and electronic documents
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings
  • Provide training and support on document control policies
  • Verify formatting of submitted Configuration Management documents
  • Import and manage BOMs and Item cards in MS Dynamics ERP
  • Assist in managing vendor-related quality issues
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Assist in internal and external AS9100 audits
  • Implement and serve as SME for Arena PLM System

About this role:

Fuse is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Configuration Analyst to join our energetic and growing team! This is an opportunity to work closely with Quality Management providing reliable support for our supplier quality and configuration management processes. In this role, you will support the company's full business quality management system and production team. What you'll do:
  • Manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for the release, approval, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and storage of quality system documents and records per the company's Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain and update the Configuration Management Database and control of electronic documents for SOPs, product specifications and drawings, inspection and manufacturing procedures, process validation, design control, marketing and test reports
  • Facilitate the Configuration Control Board (CCB)
  • Provide training and support for employees regarding document control policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Verify formatting of documents submitted into Configuration Management
  • Import and Manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Item cards in MS Dynamics ERP
  • Assist in management of quality issues related to vendors and suppliers of materials, products or services used in development or manufacturing
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Assist in internal and external AS9100 audits
  • Support implementation of the new Arena PLM System
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Arena
  • Train and mentor stakeholders on the Arena functionality and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business processes with Arena workflows and improve process consistency.

Requirements

We are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in document control or quality management, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Experience as a Quality Engineer or Configuration Control Specialist
  • Solid judgment to proactively identify and solve complex problems
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 or AS9100 audits
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both internal and external parties
  • US Citizen

Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000
