PAY RANGEThe Target Pay Range for this position is $96,900.00-$118,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $75,300.00 - $140,100.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:As the Senior Compliance Administrator, you will play a critical role in strengthening BECU's risk and compliance foundation by being the hands-on executor who turns compliance frameworks into day-to-day reality. You will directly support compliance activities across the Member and Digital Experience (MDX) portfolio, helping ensure products, services, communications, and operations meet regulatory expectations. Your work will help close gaps in an evolving compliance environment while building sustainable processes that protect the Credit Union and its members. This role offers a highly visible opportunity to make an immediate impact while helping mature and elevate the overall compliance program.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Compliance Review & Advisory Support: You will review MDX-related activities, communications, and materials for regulatory compliance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with applicable federal and state requirements.
- Control Writing & Inventory Management: You will draft, update, and maintain operational risk controls and manage control inventories, ensuring controls are clearly documented, current, and aligned to regulatory expectations.
- Audit Support & Issue Remediation: You will support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and helping drive remediation of audit findings through clear and actionable plans.
- Complaint Management Activities: You will assist with complaint review, tracking, and root-cause analysis, helping ensure complaints are addressed appropriately and trends are identified and escalated.
- PRCI & RCSA Execution: You will actively participate in PRCI and RCSA activities, supporting risk identification, assessment, and documentation efforts across the MDX organization.
- Regulatory Research & Application: You will research federal and state regulatory requirements and apply them practically to MDX operations, translating regulatory language into clear, actionable compliance guidance.
- Process Building in an Evolving Environment: You will help build, refine, and improve compliance processes in a developing environment, balancing structure with flexibility as the program matures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will partner closely with MDX teams, Enterprise Compliance, and risk partners to embed compliance requirements into day-to-day operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work or education-related experience
- 5 years of functional experience in quality, compliance, or data analysis
Desired Qualifications: - CUCO (Credit Union Compliance Officer) or other compliance designation preferred
- Strong expertise in federal and state regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry standards applicable to financial services
- Experience with regulatory bodies such as the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration) is preferred
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and provide actionable guidance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Proficient in compliance management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
