Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst provides consultation to HR business partners and management as the subject matter expert on employee salary actions including merit pay, equity adjustments, promotions and cash and incentive awards. Leads the salary planning, equity, variable pay, and structure movement processes for non-official staff. Participates in salary planning, equity, variable pay and structure movement process for official staff.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and consult with HR Business Partners and business areas to lead analysis and evaluation of jobs, in order to determine market value; salary range; FLSA classification, and workers compensation classification. Additionally, you will provide salary administration guidance and compensation policy guidance.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence team to conduct analysis as requested which includes, but is not limited to compiling, analyzing and summarizing data to create reports, dashboards and/or make or recommendations.
  • Lead annual salary planning, equity and variable pay processes for non-official staff; includes maintenance of budgets associated with each process.
  • Lead annual salary structure analysis.
  • Participate in maintenance of market pricing tool which includes, formatting/loading salary survey data, linking market data to Bank jobs, and maintaining local system parameters (trend amount, data views); may participate in second year matching and survey match maintenance; and responsible for management of survey budget and contracts.
  • Participate in annual salary planning, equity and variable pay processes for official staff.


You Have:

Required
  • Bachelor`s degree in HR, Business or related field.
  • Minimum experience 5+ years academic/professional experience performing related duties and analysis using tools such as MS Excel, R, or Tableau.
  • Skilled using technology tools and digital platforms including market pricing tools and Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms.
  • Skilled using Microsoft Office suite, specifically MS Excel, experience required.
  • Above average math skills and experience using tools to conduct data analysis.
  • Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking, managing deadlines and providing project oversight.
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills to effectively communicate with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships, provide effective consultation, and negotiate win-win solutions.
  • Ability to counsel and assist management and/or employees as well as interpretation of Bank policy and procedures.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems and recommend solutions which are in the best interest of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain trust and integrity when working with confidential situations and information.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Knowledge in identifying prospective compensation strategies and market trends using market research.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation regulations and Department of Labor regulations.

Preferred
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional).
  • Change management experience.
