  • Shape long-term community roadmaps from pre-launch to ongoing post-launch cycles.
  • Design and lead global community programs including dev updates, AMAs, feedback loops, livestreams, and roadmap communications.
  • Serve as an authentic, informed spokesperson for the studio and game franchises - online and at industry events.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with players, content creators, and influencers to grow advocacy and excitement.
  • Partner with game development teams to deliver actionable player feedback, represent community perspectives, and help shape meaningful features and experiences.
  • Collaborate with creative services, social media, and marketing teams to ensure community content reflects the essence of each game, its world, and its players.
  • Work with publishing partners to integrate community programming into 360° GTM, marketing and content plans.
  • Lead and manage a network of external community, social, and influencer agencies, providing direction, oversight, and performance expectations.
  • Partner with licensors, platform partners, and brand collaborators to drive authentic and aligned community engagement opportunities.
  • Build robust and scalable community / player listening systems to gather and organize feedback, sentiment, etc.
  • Monitor community sentiment, identify trends, and deliver clear insights to improve development decisions and engagement strategies.
  • Build scalable systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting player feedback across global regions.
  • Grow and manage an ecosystem of streamers, creators, and community leaders to amplify content and build long-term advocacy.
  • Partner with creative and social teams to support creator campaigns, early access programs, and in-game content moments.
  • Support post-launch activities including content updates, patches, feature announcements, and seasonal events.
  • Ensure consistent, timely, and transparent communication during key periods, including launch, updates, unexpected service issues, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience building, growing, and managing communities for video games, live-service titles, or major entertainment franchises.
  • Proven ability to independently build community strategy and execute with minimal supervision.

  • Strong public-facing communication skills, including livestreaming, interviews, and written updates.
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture, player behavior, online community dynamics, and content ecosystems across Discord, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze player sentiment, synthesize insights, and translate feedback into actionable recommendations for development and publishing teams.
  • Experience supporting pre-launch through post-launch community efforts.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - especially with game development teams, creative teams, social teams, and publishing partners.
  • Comfortable representing the studio as an official spokesperson with clarity, authenticity, and professionalism.
  • High-energy, proactive self-starter with strong ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple projects across several game properties.
