What You Will Do:

The Senior Communications Consultant provides expert support for executive and internal communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across the organization. This role is responsible for developing communication strategies, managing stakeholder engagement, and supporting leadership alignment in accordance with government requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement executive and internal communication strategies.

  • Draft, review, and edit communications for leadership and staff audiences.

  • Coordinate with key personnel to ensure alignment of messaging and objectives.

  • Support stakeholder engagement and facilitate information flow across the organization.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive leadership.

  • Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness, recommending improvements as needed.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred

  • Bachelor's degree

  • FOUR (4) years of experience in communications, speechwriting, communications strategy, or public relations.

  • Ability to work at client site in Washington, DC at least 3 days/week

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience developing and executing large communications campaigns.

  • Experience working with top government or C-Suite level executive.

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
